Public Meeting on Allentown’s Trail Plan: January 13, 7pm
Allentown is known for its excellent park system, which is both expansive and diverse, especially for a city its size. Allentown is now about a year into a trails-network planning and feasibility study that aims to create a comprehensive system of trails that connect these parks with each other while establishing pedestrian and bike linkages between neighborhoods, points of interest, and the broader region.
The third in a series of public meetings on Allentown’s trail network study has been scheduled for January 13, 2010, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Allentown Public Library (Multipurpose Room), 1210 Hamilton Street, Allentown. This meeting is a valuable opportunity to learn about the draft trail study and contribute your input and ideas to this important initiative.
