The folks at Penn–and a number of their partners–have an upcoming event focused on exploring the future of infrastructure and what it means to think long-term about the sustainability of urban communities.

Reshaping the City: New Visions for Urban Infrastructure–a lecture and panel presented by the Penn Institute for Urban Research, PennPraxis, PennDesign, Next American City, and the Philadelphia City Planning Commission–will take place Wednesday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m. at The Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, with a reception beginning at 5:00 p.m. The program will include local and national experts looking at the future of infrastructure for the Greater Philadelphia region. Free registration is available online.
